Absolutely love having this water filtration system at my fingertips. No more filtering water in small pitchers all the time for me. Easy to install although it does take a few hours to get it right. Nice not to have to worry about the water in my town as we are always getting notices that it failed for something. I won't use the water without filtering it for anything . Thank you for making life just a little bit easier for me. I love it!

This is a great water system and makes the water taste so good! The install was pretty easy so long as you have enough space to get everything installed. The hardest part was to cut a hole in granite to get the water faucet installed.

At first glance the thought of installing this yourself can feel daunting. Take a breathe, read the instructions all the way through at least once. Don't be in a hurry. More prep on the front end makes for a very easy install. The only part that really made me somewhat uncomfortable is cutting the hole for the faucet. Again, take your time. If that does feel too much, have a pro come cut the hole. The rest is fairly straight forward. The only bummer, but an essential one, is the length of time to sterilize the system, but even that just requires time. System looks great, fits well under sink. Compact, takes up minimal room. Produces great RO water at a really reasonable price point. Definitely recommend.

This is a great product. The water in the city I live in tastes terrible. It makes other beverages taste terrible when we use it to make ice cubes. This system provided helped with that. This was super easy to install. The only thing I dislike is that while it is very low profile compared to some other systems, it does take up a bit of space where I normally store my cleaning supplies.

This is not a whole house system. With that in mind, the system works decent enough for being installed in the kitchen sink area. It does take up a bit of room underneath the sink. You also have the cup/bottle fill faucet included but that requires the additional hole, which we didn't have. Drilling an extra hole was not something I anticipated so we just left that out. This system does reduce water pressure as it is sending the water through filters so don't expect the same pressure as before. All in all if you have hard water like we do this will benefit you. It can also help save your faucet and coffee pot from build up. I would recommend. At this price it's not going to break the bank.

I just finished installing the GE REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION SYSTEM in my sink. First of all I have to say this was fairly simple to install , the instructions was easy to under and complete. Did not need to search for extra installing information cause there manual covered it fully. Watching the video they recommend is very helpful and informative.
This system is triple filtered, which is awesome cause you we be getting drinking water the is cleaned from 95% of all impurities such as lead which is actually tasteless , odorless and invisible so you won't see the lead in drinking water from your sink faucet. When you remove the lead with this GE reverse osmosis filtration system your drinking water will be clean and pure. It also taste so fresh and clean. This system has indicator to inform you when it is time to change the filers. And one of the best part it is conveniently underneath your sink. No need for another large appliance in your house. This is an small under the sink appliance for everyone to have to be able to driink clean water

The GE REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION SYSTEM GXRQ18NBN was super easy to install with simple push on connectors. System comes with everything you need to self install. The system and filters provide a REVERSE OSMOSIS filtration that provides the best tasting water I have had. I am on a treated community well and always disliked the water as it was hard water with a strong chlorine taste and smell. The filters removed all the taste and smells from the drinking water. I have ditched the wasteful water bottles for the GE system. The filters last 6 months with normal use and removes 95% impurities. The item description was just as described and I would buy it again.

I love my GE Reverse Osmosis Filtration system. I have trusted products from GE for decades. The brand is trustworthy, and their products are high-quality. This filtration system has exceeded my expectations. It is very easy to install. I actually set it up myself, and didn't need any assistance from my husband. The directions are very clear and detailed. It is a small filtration system, and it fits under the kitchen sink. I love the size of it. The package contains everything one needs to set up completely. It is very easy to use. Simply use the switch on the little filtration faucet. It delivers clean, safe, water immediately. It removes lead, and nearly all other impurities. Now, I am secure knowing that me and my family are drinking safe water, with nothing impure lurking there unseen. I also use this filtered water for cooking. I feel so happy knowing that I am doing what I can to keep my family healthy. GE has really hit it out of the park with this idea. This filtration system is wonderful! I did not realize how much difference there is with filtered water. Water taste so much better and will definitely be drinking more of it due to this filtration system. I did have a little bit of help from my husband in connecting everything, but it seem to be pretty easy. I think it took him a whole 5 minutes, if even that.

This system makes a drastic difference. I did not expect the actual taste of my water to be enhanced so much, but to my pleasant surprise this really did it. Knowing that it's removing so many impurities and keeping my families drinking water in the best condition possible, it really gives me peace of mind. This works very well. A little hard to set up but once we got it figured out we couldn't be happier. It cleans our water very good, making it taste super fresh. We have a big household and it holds up to our usage. It's well worth getting the system. The quality is absolutely amazing. It doesn't change our water pressure on the faucet much which I like. I never used one of these before but I'm hooked now.

Just installed. Very easy install. Faucet lights did not work at first when the battery was engaged. I had to loosen the faucet so I could look in the battery compartment and bend the contact point so that the lights now work. I had the other RO unit for 20 years prior hope this one proves as reliable.

Just installed this and aside from the fact that the faucet is nice looking I'm not impressed. I replaced a 10 year old system with this one and the flow was twice as fast from the faucet. Takes FOREVER just to fill up the reservoir on my Keurig. I verified everything was hooked up properly. Per the specs the water s/b flowing at .8 gpm or better. Mine is at .34. Called customer service and was passed off to a local company so we will see where that goes but will not be happy if I have to go through the trouble to uninstall this to return it. Should have kept the 10 year old one, aside from the leak in one of the connections it worked way better.

This product has destroyed my base cabinet. It leaked and filled my cabinets and kitchen floor with water. I could not stop the leaking without turning of the water to the kitchen sink. The leak came from the faucet which is a closed system and cannot be adjusted. I took it back to Home Depot and replaced it. i returned home with the new device and it was even worse. It leaked from day on from the faucet again and flooded mt cabinet. I sat and watched it for over an hour and I did the initial drain. After thinking all things where as should be I closed my cabinet. I returned about 2 hours later and the cabinet was flooded and water was covering the cabinets. This has been a nightmare and has ruined the toe kicks on several cabinets as well as the bottom shelf on the cabinets as well. I would not recommend this product. It has caused a damage to my cabinets and home depot doesn't carry the product anymore.

I've been through so many RO Systems in my life, but I certainly like this one the best! Got it originally at Home Depot. I'm thankful that they had it because I may not have known about it at all if it hadn't have been sitting on the shelf. Unfortunately, I can't find it or the filters there anymore and I'm pretty mad about that! This is the best tasting water I have encountered and it is so simple, my wife could install it and she is not even close to being a plumber. The directions could be a little better and if GE wants my assistance, I could provide a couple of tweaks, but it's pretty darn easy none-the-less. Thanks for such a wonderful product!

I replaced my old unit with this one. All I had to do was switch it out keeping most of the same lines. Luckily I didn't have to install a drain adapter because one was already there and everything was pretty much interchangeable, so installation was quick and incredibly easy and NO LEAKS. Then the wife came in, she preferred the look of the older faucet because the brushed stainless finish didn't match the sink and switch plate for the disposal, so I had to switch the faucet back to the older one, but this was very simple. HURRAY still NO LEAKS. The unit itself is an upgrade to my older system. A big improvement from the older unit is the filters are much easier to change and the filters themselves take up less space so of course that leaves more room when shoving 2 or 3 more bottles of whatever cleaner that I probably won't ever use under the kitchen sink. With this model's higher flow rate the water fills pots and glasses faster. The most important thing about choosing a Reverse Osmosis System is the filter quality. I have city water, and ever since flint MI I make sure that my family drinks filtered water. Even when boiling water for pasta we use filtered water. This unit is very efficient at removing lead and arsenic. I would suggest every family have a Reverse Osmosis System in their household and I highly recommend this one.

I have a lot of pros for the unit but not any cons. We are very happy with this system, it's simple and easy to use so I will just list out what I like about it:
Easy installation, user-friendly manual, no special tools required only basic hand tools and a battery drill.
Filter cartridges easy to install and maintain and no need to turn the water off to the house in order to change the filters. Set-up and purge for the unit takes 24 hours before you have drinking water.
No frills basic unit, the filtration system does not require any power to operate so no electronics to go bad, with the exception of the faucet that is battery powered, which reminds you to change the filter every 6 months.
Decent flow rate through the system, a bit faster than getting filtered water from a fridge door and a bit slower than using an unfiltered faucet.
Water quality has great taste, no odors or a bad taste in the treated water exactly what you expect from a RO water filtration system.
Faucet appearance Is modern & attractive, equipment size is minimal and fits nicely under the kitchen sink cabinet.
We would definitely recommend this system to others looking for an RO system.

We have well water, and although we have the water tested every couple years, there is still an amount of iron and probably other stuff that makes it though the household filter. I have a filter on my fridge for cold drinking water, however I wanted to have a more purified water for filling the kettle and our coffee maker etc. I love that this reverse osmosis system allows me easy access to really well filtered water for my cooking and hot drinks. Our sink had a sprayer attachment with a hole for that, so we were able to easily swap out the sprayer for the new faucet for the potable water. I'm really happy with this, and it really doesn't take up much space, I forget it's even under there.

GE REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION SYSTEM, delivered well packaged. The systems instructions were clear and easy to understand. The system has removable replacement cartridges that do not require the water to be turned off for changing. Although the cartidge's are a little more expensive than traditional generic osmosis systems its worth the extra cost for ease of replacement. We hooked up directly to fridgerator water and ice line. Immediately observed a difference in the ice. It was clear and no longer had an unwanted smell. Highly recommend this system.

Received this unit a few days back and installed , first off installation is a breeze after I installed unit did what instruction said and 24 hours later had system set and ready to use I did have one small leak but that was due to me not cutting line straight recut and no leaks. I love it for my drinking water the only down side to me is my coffee does not have has much flavor when i use this .Over all very nice unit and easy to install and set up Thank you GE.
